Concerts in Washington officially being affected by coronavirus fears
Governor Inslee has put an official ban in Washington as fears of a coronavirus outbreak increase.
Inslee has banned all gatherings with more than 250 people in King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties to try and contain an outbreak of coronavirus. The ban extends to the end of March. Inslee stated in a press conference that it is “very likely” the ban could extend beyond March.
For now, venues are playing it by ear regarding shows past March. Venues such as the Tacoma Dome and the Showbox have released statements stating that all shows in March are officially postponed. Ticket holders will be contacted via email to let them know additional details for their shows. Some shows have already been scheduled for the summer.
Fans should continue to check their emails and contact the venues regarding the fate of future shows.
Rainier Rock will continue to post updates as we get them.
